The Anatomical Museum Basel is one of the oldest museums specializing in human
anatomy and enjoys international recognition with its historical and modern exhi-
bits. Interactive and immersive in the virtual world, this exhibition offers a journey
through the eventful history of anatomy with its highs and lows, shows how the
museum was created and developed, and explores the pioneering contribution that
anatomy has made to the advancement of knowledge in recent years.
